I considered our love a celebration,
that always left me breathless
when your feelings led the way.
You weren’t like anybody else I met,
never too afraid to shed a tear.
Even saying you were sorry
when you committed a rare mistake.
I can’t imagine life without you.
My heart feels permanently shattered as
I struggle to live each day.
You are always in my dreams.
There doesn’t seem a point to continue.
You were my only source of inspiration.
I have now lost faith in life.
